Transitioning Your Development Environment
Firebase Studio is being sunset. Google has announced a one-year transition period with a hard shutdown on March 22, 2027. This module walks you through migrating your existing projects and adjusting your development workflow to use Google Antigravity - the next-generation agentic IDE that replaces Firebase Studio for code-first development. Your live apps are NOT affected. Firebase services (Firestore, Auth, App Hosting, Storage, Functions) continue running normally. Only the browser-based IDE (Firebase Studio) is going away.
